ADULT PSYCHOTHERAPIST VACANCY (WEXFORD TOWN)
Wexford Rape Crisis (WXRC) is a service offering counselling to women,
men and young people who have been affected in any way by Domestic,
Sexual or Gender-based violence. In addition, we offer support
counselling to a partner, family member or friend who is supporting
the person who has been abused.
We invite applications from qualified, accredited and experienced
Adult Psychotherapists to provide individual counselling services. The
post is for 3 days per week based in Wexford town for a 3-year
contract.
CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS:
* An accredited qualification in counselling/psychotherapy, minimum
Diploma level, recognised by the Irish Association for Counselling and
Psychotherapy (IACP) or Irish Association for Humanistic Integrative
psychotherapy (IAHIP).
* Accredited with the IACP/IAHIP.
* A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
* Experience of working with survivors of domestic, sexual and
gender-based violence.
* A working knowledge of computer packages to include Microsoft
Office (Word, Excel, Access).
* Ability to record and input stats to a database as well as collate
and produce reports on client outcomes.
* A flexible approach and an ability to handle a varied workload.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well under own
initiative.
